Who processes your data

What data we process

This site has no user accounts and no login. The contact form is the only place where we obtain personal data from you.

Name

Required, so that we know who we are replying to.

Email address

Required. Without it we cannot reply.

Phone number

Optional. Fill it in if you would rather we called you.

Message

Optional. The content of your enquiry.

The project the enquiry concerns

Added automatically when you write from a specific project page, so the enquiry reaches the right person.

IP address

Recorded automatically. It protects the form from abuse and helps us tell repeated submissions apart.

Date and time of submission

Recorded automatically.

We collect nothing else. We do not process special categories of data such as health, religion or political opinions, and we carry out no automated decision making or profiling.

Our legal basis

• Answering your enquiry. If you ask about a specific house, apartment or plot, this is a step taken at your request prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For a general question it is our legitimate interest in replying to someone who contacted us, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• IP address. Our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Filling in the form is voluntary. Without a name and an email address, however, we cannot reply.

How long we keep the data

We keep an enquiry for three years from our last communication with you. Buying a home takes longer than a single season, and we want to be able to pick up where we left off without asking you to write everything again. After that period we delete it.

If the enquiry leads to a contract, the related data is kept for the periods required by law, in particular accounting and archiving legislation.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for third party marketing.

• Our hosting provider, on whose servers this site and its database run. The servers are located in Slovakia.
• Our web supplier, who handles technical maintenance of the site.

Both process the data solely on our instructions and only to the extent needed to run the site.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.

Cookies and analytics

The site currently uses no analytics and no advertising tools, and it does not load a single script from an outside domain. Even the consent bar is served from our own server, not someone else's.

We still ask you on your first visit. Analytics and marketing are off by default and no measurement script is loaded without your consent. You can change your decision at any time through the Privacy settings link in the footer.

A single cookie is stored:

PHPSESSID

A strictly necessary technical cookie. It lasts two hours and keeps your session on the server, for example the language you selected. It contains no personal data.

Your choice is remembered in a cookie of our own so that we do not ask again on every visit. When we do add visitor measurement, it will run only for people who allowed it, and we will list the specific cookies on this page.

• the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• the right to erasure,
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
